Habitat

Often found among the other species, Whitefish reside in both our rivers and our lakes. They often school up so when you find one, you’re bound to find more. 

Size & Diet

Whitefish in Labrador can grow up to 8lbs and measure as long as 20″! They primarily feed on the same diet as trout and are often a strong fighting by-catch.

Flies and Equiptment

As far as fly rods, an 5-6 wt. and an appropriately sized reel is recommended.
